Instructions
On the front of the Instant Pot, select SAUTE. Melt the butter and then add the onions, salt, and bell pepper. Cook for 3 minutes.
Add the cumin and oregano. Continue to cook for 1 minute.
Mix in the tomato paste and stir well to keep from sticking to the bottom. Cook for 1 minute. Press CANCEL.
Add the remaining ingredients except the buns to the Instant Pot. Mix well to combine flavors and to make sure bottom is not sticking.
Under PRESSURE COOK, select high and set timer for 13 minutes.
Once timer goes off, select natural release. It will take about 15 minutes for the pressure to release. Carefully open and remove the lid.
Spoon mixture out onto the hamburger buns.
Notes
Substitute the bell pepper for a poblano pepper for a spicier burger!
