Ground cloves are a concentrated spice made from the dried flower buds of Syzygium aromaticum, with a very strong phytochemical profile built around eugenol, eugenyl acetate, beta-caryophyllene, phenolic acids, flavonoids, tannins, fiber, manganese, calcium, magnesium, potassium, and antioxidant compounds.
